The BUW is a mixed league sponsored by the Moon Under Water Brewery here in Victoria. Every month there’s a social at the pub there. The Broom is a true mixed, with 2 men and 2 women on each team, and the skip/third must be alternating gender. (Open format with single female in 3rd or skip can be considered) The focus is on recreational play in this league, with a range of skill levels, but with nothing being taken too seriously.

PLEASE ENSURE YOU ARE INTENDING TO REGISTER FOR THE "BROOM UNDER WATER" league - the "Thursday Open" is a separate league, with a different (open, as opposed to true mixed) format.
Draw times are Thursday nights 6:30PM and 8:45PM (alternating)
22 curling dates, starting September 26 2024 through March 20 2025
Fees may be prorated for 5 and 6 person teams, subject to league structure. Please ensure you know how many curlers will be part of your team PRIOR to registering in order to ensure you are charged correctly.
If you are a late addition to a previously registered 4 player team, please do NOT pay online. Register and select the pay in the office option. Then, please reply to your registration email to confirm with the office. We will adjust your fees and issue you an online invoice to pay.
