This is VCCs newest league for its newest curlers. Geared to beginner curlers to those with 5 years of experience or less.
The Newbie 5 -week league Session 1 runs Oct 8-Nov 5 2024. Each week teams will get to play a 4 end game.
With on-ice support, coaching, and tips from the league coach beginner curlers will have plenty of opportunities to improve their delivery technique, work on weight control, and build some winning strategies. 1 experienced curler per team is welcomed. Sign up in full teams (4-5 players), in pairs or individuals. Players are free to rotate positions between ends. Equipment is provided.
New curlers are welcome to come to the “Try It” event the Tuesday night prior to their 5 week league where they can learn the basics Pre-Registration required
This is a great league for:
Those who have completed Try Curling or a previous rental /event with instruction who want to continue developing their curling skills
Those on the spares list and not in a league who want to get some regular gameplay
Those who want to get additional gameplay and tips for improving in their weekly league games
Casual curlers who want to play more and have the flexibility of a short “season”
Curling Canada/Curl BC Membership Fee added at checkout ($22 not required if already paid for another league)
