Seniors Learn to Curl - Slide Delivery
A 5-week daytime program to prepare and teach the fundamentals of curling including safety, warm up and cool down exercises, delivery dynamics, sweeping, game play and etiquette. The first three sessions will include a half-hour warmup and information session, 1 hr. of ice time and a following cool down and social time. The last two sessions will include game play with existing leagues with extra learning support for those who need it. Refreshments provided
All equipment needed is included - shoes, brooms, and sliders; if you feel more comfortable wearing a helmet, you are certainly free to bring your own (bicycle, skater, or hockey helmets all work, and we sell some "curling specific" ones in our pro-shop).
