Adult Learn to Curl is exactly what it says it is... if you are an adult, and have never before curled, or if you're an adult, and curled maybe once upon a time back in high school, and want to revisit the game: this is the place to learn what you need to get you ready to play in one of our recreational leagues at the VCC.
Even if you've never stepped on the ice before, this 8 week program will take you from that first step, right through gameplay strategies. Sliding, handles, sweeping, yelling, judging weight, curling terminology, strategy and more are all covered here.
Registration is individual so if you are signing up as a pair or group each person needs to complete their own registration.
All equipment needed is included - shoes, brooms, and sliders; if you feel more comfortable wearing a helmet, you are certainly free to bring your own (bicycle, skater, or hockey helmets all work, and we sell some "curling specific" ones in our pro-shop).
Program starts Sunday January 7, running 8 consecutive Sunday evenings (skipping Jan 21 and March 3), ending March 10. Dates: Jan 7, 14, 28 Feb 4, 11, 18, 25 March 10

Note please select waitlist if program appears full as we will be able to move some off the waitlist! We can not do this if you simply email asking to be on the waitlist. We will first let in those on the fall waitlist then let in any others if there is space (we expect the waitlist to fill it)
