Draft league - fun for all abilities and ages on Sunday mornings! Sign up as an individual and get placed on a team!
Our name alludes to our origins with the Britannia Legion, but these days no legion affiliation is needed to join our fun, casual draft league!
New members can join as solo/partial teams and be matched with some of our existing members, or you can bring in your own full team. Either way, you have the option to continue playing together for 2 seasons before entering the draft pool. Or you can dive straight in -- each year, the skips draft their players from the league list, presenting lots of opportunities to meet different curlers.
Our league includes everyone from seasoned veterans to fresh rookies, so it's a great place to learn and grow your game in a low-pressure environment. That said, we do play through a round robin and brief playoff bracket at the end of the season, so there’s a taste of competition. But mostly we taste the beer in the club lounge as we wait to hear the winners of our weekly gift card and meat raffIes!
The Britannia League is perfect for players new to town or new to curling or for anyone wanted to have fun.
